Integrating TOPSIS and ELECTRE-Ⅰ methods with cubic $ m $-polar fuzzy sets and its application to the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders

<abstract><p>Many real-world decision-making issues frequently involve competing sets of criteria, uncertainty, and inaccurate information. Some these require the involvement a group decision-makers, where it is necessary to reduce various available individual preferences single collective preference. To enhance effectiveness multi-criteria decisions, popular technique that makes procedure more precise, reasonable, efficient. The "Technique for Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS)" "Elimination Choice Transforming Reality (ELECTRE)" are prominent ranking methods widely used in solve complicated problems. In this study, two $ m $-polar fuzzy set-based proposed extending ELECTRE-Ⅰ TOPSIS approaches equipped with cubic (C$ $PF) sets, experts provide assessment results on feasible alternatives through C$ $PF decision matrix. first method, $PF-TOPSIS, focuses alternative closest positive ideal solution farthest away from negative solution. Euclidean normalized distances determine proximity an solutions. contrast, second developed method $PF-ELECTRE-Ⅰ which uses outranking directed graph optimal alternative, entirely depends concordance discordance sets. Furthermore, practical case study carried out diagnosis impulse control disorders illustrate feasibility applicability methods. Finally, comparative analysis performed demonstrate veracity, superiority, methods.</p></abstract>
